Drs. Scott and Allison Gilbert, PT, DPT began South Fork Physical Therapy in 2004. Our Huntsville Office opened in September 2004, followed by the Oneida Office in November 2012, and the Jamestown Office in September 2019. The Gilberts live in Scott County and are raising 5 children here. The family attends New Haven Baptist Church.

Dr. Scott Gilbert, PT, DPT, cert. MDT graduated from Oneida High School in 1994. He received a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from East Tennessee State University in 1998 and returned home to Scott County to work in 2001. In 2010, he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Kentucky and went on to focus on manual procedures for the spine, earning a certification in the McKenzie Method. Scott has spent 23 years as a volunteer on the sidelines and courts of local high schools, providing injury assessment and care to student athletes. In the clinic, he treats low back pain and neck pain with great success and enjoys educating patients on how to prevent spine injuries. When not at work, Scott is an avid dirt bike rider, loves to be outdoors, and spends time with his family. Scott works at both our Oneida and Huntsville Offices.

Dr. Allison Gilbert, PT, DPT received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Kentucky in 2000, followed by her master’s in physical therapy in August 2002. She moved to Scott County in 2001 after marrying her husband, Scott. In 2010, she returned to UK to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Since 2002, she has volunteered her time to local athletes providing sideline care to football, basketball, and soccer teams. At work, Allison enjoys treating pediatric torticollis patients, hand and wrist injuries, and geriatric patients. She also provides human resources to staff and overseas the accounting portion of the business. Outside of the clinic, she spends her time caring for and supporting her 5 children, traveling, and reading. Allison works in both of our Scott County offices.

Dr. Mckael Conatser, PT, DPT began working at SFPT in 2024. He is a 2023 graduate of ETSU where he received his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree. McKael grew up in Jamestown and was a 2016 graduate of York Institute where he played baseball and found a passion for weight lifting. He married his wife, Brianna, in 2020 and they returned home after college to work and begin their family. They are expecting a baby girl in late summer 2024! Outside of work, McKael, attends Alive in the Spirit Church in Jamestown, continues to focus on weight lifting, and enjoys fishing, hunting, and hiking. In the clinic, McKael enjoys working with pediatric and geriatric patients as well as those with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, Cerebral Palsy, and Stroke recovery. McKael treats patients in our Jamestown location.

Andrew Adkins, PTA began working at SFPT in 2015 following his graduation from Roane State Community College. A one-time patient after suffering an ACL tear while playing Highschool Soccer, Andrew understands both sides of the therapy team. Andrew and his wife Emily were married in 2016 and they live in Helenwood with their son, Jericho. When he’ s not at work, Andrew attends Trinity Baptist Church where is part of the Sign Ministry. He also enjoys working out, watching sports of all kinds, attending UT sporting events, and spending time with his family. In the clinic, he does an excellent job with rehabbing total joint replacements and encouraging young athletes. Andrew works in our Huntsville Office.


Christian Blakeley, PTA is a 2019 graduate of Oneida Highschool and a 2023 graduate of Roane State Community College. In highschool, he was a member of the OHS soccer team and grew up playing in Scott County’s AYSO leagues. He continues to enjoy soccer and is a fan of the US Men’s National Team. In the clinic he enjoys treating Total Knee Replacements and even had the opportunity to observe this surgery in the OR while in school. In his free time, Christian enjoys traveling to new and exciting places, sampling interesting foods, and listening to live music. Christian works in our Jamestown office.

Brittany Strunk Day, PTA has been with SFPT since her graduation from South College in 2013. Brittany is a dog mom to Oakley, and married her husband, Paul, in 2024. They live in Huntsville and attend Trinity Baptist Church with her family. Although Oakly is her pride and joy, Brittany loves to spend time with her new nephew, James. She spends her free time enjoying coffee, motorcycle riding with Paul, and fishing at the lake. At work, Brittany enjoys working with the Geriatric population and seeing them gain confidence and independence during their time with us. Brittany primarily works in our Oneida location.

Logan Goodman, PTA is a 2023 graduate of Roane State Community College and began working with SPFT as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) immediately following graduation. After high school, Logan began working in our office as a technician and found his love for this profession. Logan married his high school sweetheart, Josie, in 2024. They live in Oneida and attend Bible Believers Baptist Church. A stand out basketball player at Scott High School, Logan now coaches middle school basketball at Fairview and volunteers his time coaching travel basketball teams around the county. At work, Logan enjoys treating patients with sports related injuries as well as our older population of patients. He works primarily in our Oneida Office.

Melissa Phillips Woods, PTA has been with SFPT since 2006. She is a 1996 graduate of Roane State Community College. Melissa is married to her husband, Kenton, and they are raising their son, Conner in Oneida. They attend White Rock Baptist Church and enjoy family time at the Movies. Melissa is an avid coffee lover, UT football fan, and enjoys exercise for both the physical and mental benefits. In the clinic, she enjoys treating patients that have undergone Total Knee Replacements and is a constant encourager and support for her patients, as well as her co-workers. Melissa works in our Oneida location.
